Vineyard Voice is a nonprofit sponsor for Islander residents and organizations seeking to use media to foster community insight and social change. We have been fortunate to enable people and organizations to produce videos that have real impact.
Programs
Arts & Ideas Incubator
In 2013, Vineyard Voice will sponsor Arts & Ideas Incubator. A&I Incubator is a local arts and ideas innovation program which will bring regional and national leaders to Martha’s Vineyard to work with local people. Through creative residencies and seminars A&I Incubator will accelerate innovation in the arts and creative livelihood and will help strengthen the Island’s creative economy. Art*Island Festival
Vineyard Voice is the sponsor for Art*Island Festival of Arts and Ideas. Art*Island is a six-day annual arts festival that in 2012 collaborated with over 20 Island organizations and businesses to produce a successful festival. Taking place in late October, part of Fall for the Arts, Art*Island showed dozens of artist’s work and presented well-attended film, dance, performance and children’s events at the Harbor View Hotel. The 2013 Art*Island festival planning is underway.
