The only way to tell if your bees have Nosema is to look into the bee gut with a microscope.

During the spring of 2007, bee woes made continual headline news in the United States. Many reports said at least on third of the honeybees in the United States had mysteriously vanished.

The bees' nemesis, the eight-legged Varroa destructor mite, is the size of a pin head. It feeds on the blood of adult bees and also eats bee larvae.

I'm going to start my supercell reduction this week end.

To do this I've got to remove my bees to a location away from other existing hives that are not going through the same process.
